Format introduction:
Download the file. Determine if you can open it with your graphics program if not its probably in.art format On the Aol Menu (top menu) select FILE then OPEN Search for the.art file you downloaded. Click the file to open it. AOLs File Viewer window opens and the picture is displayed. Once the file is open simply save it in the proper fromat. Digitizing software for converting raster image files (.jpg/.png, etc), vector images (.svg,.emf), and clipart into embroidery file formats. Image processing tools and a step-by-step wizard are provided to produce an image suitable for yielding a high-quality embroidery stitch-out. The ART format (file extension '.art') holds a single still image that has been highly compressed. The format was designed to facilitate the quick downloading of images, among other things.
How To Open Art File
Technical details:
When an image is converted to the ART format, the image is analyzed and the software decides what compression technique would be best. The ART format has similarities to the progressive JPEG format, and certain attributes of the ART format can lead to image quality being sacrificed for the sake of image compression.
